Allergic to gold?

I got this gold chain with my name on it. It is not fake because I had it checked out. Ever since I got it makes the side of my neck get really itchy so then I itch it and it starts to make like red rashes on my neck. I know I am not allergic to silver because I have 11 piercings in my ears and I can wear some shity silver and nothing will happen, I even were a silver chain too. Also I had these gold earrings and when I put those in, like the next day I get these water like oil coming out of my ear. .it is really weird. It always happens I dont know why I put them in but then I get like scabs on them or this gold looking rough stuff on my ears. .it really sucks Im planning on getting another sliver chain instead of that gold one but, do you think I could be allergic to the gold or something in it?
