Does the Liberal party intend to allow its MP'S to vote with their conscience on the same- marriage issue

Since when had this issue been brought up in the Commons. Stephen Harper mumbled about it during his campaign but right now it would be political useless and probably dangerous to reopen it. I think that it will remain closed and the Supreme Court will have the final say in the matter.
