1920's help!!!!!??????
If you're looking for copies of newspaper articles, you might try the online searchable archives of newspapers like the Chicago Tribune ( a href="http://pqasb.pqarchiver.com/chicagotribune/advancedsearch.html" rel="nofollow"http://pqasb.pqarchiver.com/chicagotribu…/a ) and the New York Times ( a href="http://query.nytimes.com/search/" rel="nofollow"http://query.nytimes.com/search//a ). Using pdf doent format, the newspapers show the actual articles as published. Both archives typically charge fees for access to their articles, but early 1920s articles from the New York Times are made available for free (their copyrights have expired). Similar online archives exist for Atlanta Constitution, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Boston Globe, Hartford Courant, etc. However, the online archives of a number of newspapers are limited to much older (Brooklyn Eagle) or much more recent (Miami Herald, Philadelphia Inquirer) articles.
