Is the euro widely accepted in these countries?Thanks?

No, no, no, no, yes. The only formerly East European country to use the Euro is Slovenia. In the major cities of the rest you can use Euro but you will get a horrible exchange rate so its best to convert to their local currency. If you travel outside, Prague, Budapest, Krakow, Warsaw, etc. you may be told flat out that they cant accept Euros.
