Fighting unemployment?
Guess my first question is do you have any doentation on the performance of your employees? The unemployment office is just trying to determine if they are eligible for benefits. With the proper doentation you can win the case. If you have talked to them on numerous occasions, tried to retrain them and they still perform poorly then you have every right to terminate their employment. This should work for the unemployment office. Poor performance is not really misconduct. If you have no doentation then you might lose the case. Good luck and remember to doent your conversations with your employees that are not performing to standard.
